Uses:

     Mainly used in the paint industry for latex water-dispersible coatings. Due to its HLB value close to 9.0, it functions as a dispersant/emulsifier/rheology modifier/cosolvent in the dispersion system.
     It improves the drying speed, smoothness, glossiness, and adhesion strength of water-dispersible coatings. Its tertiary butyl structure provides high photochemical stability and safety. Water-dispersible coatings made with this solvent exhibit good storage stability, especially under low-temperature conditions in winter.
Inks made with ETB as a solvent, or used as a diluent in printing inks, significantly enhance the rheological properties of the ink, improving the quality, glossiness, and adhesion strength of high-speed printing.
